Last week, the children in Reception went to the British Wildlife Centre to support our recent topic on animal habitats. We had a brilliant day, although it was a little wet! However, we didn’t let the rain dampen our experience and we thoroughly enjoyed learning about the amazing wildlife that live here in the UK. Our wonderful keepers, Jess and Millie, showed us around and taught us about many different animals including Foxes, Otters, Badgers, Owls, Deer, Polecats, Scottish Wild Cats and more! Some of the animals were hiding because of the rain, but we still got to learn about them and got told lots of very interesting facts.

We were very proud of the children’s behaviour and enthusiasm on the day. Well done, Reception!
